Wellness and Chinese-medicine stays in China

Prevention, recovery and health education: medium-length stays combining traditional Chinese medicine care, cultural discovery and rest, as a complement to — never a substitute for — conventional medical follow-up.

An offer built on site

Our stays grew out of field visits to Shanghai, Xiamen and Hua'an county (Fujian), with traditional Chinese medicine clinics and the 3H-Sender Institute, an organic tea farm and recognised forest-health base. We do not resell medical services: we design the engineering of the stay — initial assessment, care according to indication, an interpreter trained in TCM vocabulary, a European escort, a cultural programme, genuinely free time.

For independent adults. No therapeutic claim and no promise of cure: the vocabulary is that of wellbeing, prevention and health education. A prior health questionnaire, repatriation insurance and an incident protocol are part of every file.

Frequently asked questions

Can I go alone?

Yes. Stays take place in small groups of 8 to 16 people, which you join alone or as a couple. Couples are welcome, including when only one of the two follows the care programme.

How much does a stay cost?

Each stay is quoted individually: an all-inclusive package excluding flights, covering accommodation, care, interpreting, cultural activities and escort. The amount depends on the length and the period.

Do I need to speak Chinese or English?

No. An interpreter trained in Chinese-medicine vocabulary is present at every session, and a European escort accompanies the group throughout.

Do I need a visa?

Swiss nationals are exempt from visas for stays of under thirty days; this exemption currently runs until 31 December 2026. Passports must be valid for six months after return.

Does the stay replace medical follow-up?

No. The stays are about wellbeing, prevention and health education, as a complement to — never a substitute for — conventional medical follow-up. A prior health questionnaire is part of every file.

What is the best time to go?

Departures avoid the Fujian typhoon season, from July to September. Set dates are published on the Upcoming departures page.

What happens if there is a problem on site?

Repatriation insurance and an incident protocol are part of every file. The digital travel booklet has an Emergency tab available from every screen.
